Kaaboo is a 4 day
music festival in our sister city of Del Mar featuring the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Steve Aoki. Robert Mackey is on the ground at the fest giving us live updates on the scene.
Things are getting intense at Kaaboo. Here at the Sunset Cliffs stage it’s a night of hit after hit: we watched Lenny Kravitz kill his set, and we’re currently sitting in awe as Aerosmith brings their classic rock to the masses. Over at the Grandview stage the Chainsmokers are blowing everyone away with their Frat-Boy electronica style, and there are other great acts all over the place; like Mr. Deejay at the Silent Disco, and Omnia’s DJ down at the Encore venue. and it doesn’t end their. Everyone is gearing up for Ludacris and Steve Aoki later tonight, which are sure to be big crowd-pleasers.
Well there’s a ton of great music at Kaaboo, its not the only thing the festival has to offer. There has been a lot of great comedy acts so far, and tomorrow we’re looking forward to two infamous duos gracing the Humor Me stage: Garfunkel and Oates at 3:30 and Cheech and Chong at 6:30.
